Britta Ankenbauer

In her studio, Britta Ankenbauer creates textile objects, art quilts, and mixed media works. Influenced by textile design (Surface Design) and quilting, her art is created on and from cloth. Britta Ankenbauer has taken part in exhibitions at home and abroad, and teaches regularly (international courses and a studio course programme in three languages). She also writes books on modern textile issues. Discussions on textile art are held in her studio.
