In September 2010, Johan Deumens has inaugurated his 'Gallery in residence' at the Spinnerei. For the upcoming year, the gallery Johan Deumens wil present a special program:
"The gallery was founded with two partners under the name "Nova Zembla" in Amsterdam in 1984. When I took over the gallery I emphasized in the program conceptual works, prints, editions and artists’ books. Although, I'm specialized on art editions, I think it is important to elaborate on the relation between the publications and the other works of the artists in exhibitions."
