Galerie Kleindienst

The Galerie Kleindienst, founded by Matthias Kleindienst in 1995, shows mainly young Leipzig artists. The programme is directed at contemporary art in the fields of painting, photography, video, installation and new media. The gallery co-operates closely with international collectors, curators and art institutions. Some of our artists are represented in major European, American and Asian collections. The “Junge Kunst” (“Young Art”) exhibition series enables the Galerie Kleindienst to give young artists who have not yet made names for themselves a chance to present their work once a year. The Galerie Kleindienst regularly publishes artist catalogues or supports artists’ first catalogues financially. It participates on a regular basis in international art shows such as Art Cologne, Art Brussels, PULSE Art Fair Miami/New York, Volta Basel.
